Everything you need to know before joining Q-SMART-E.
Q-SMART-E is a research collective focused on Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, and AI/ML. Our mission is to mentor emerging researchers and drive ethical, interdisciplinary innovation.
Submit transcripts, a research statement, and two references. Strong analytical skills and interest in our focus areas are key. Shortlisted candidates complete a technical task and mentor interview.
Quantum (algorithms, cryptography, QML), Cybersecurity (secure systems, privacy tech, threat intel), and AI/ML (deep learning, NLP, responsible AI). Interdisciplinary projects are welcome.
You'll have a primary mentor, join peer circles, and attend regular 1-1 and group sessions. Mentors provide research guidance, career advice, and publication support.
12 months, ~15–20 hours/week including research, mentorship, seminars, and collaborations. Flexible scheduling across time zones.
